Welcome to Valley Animal Hospital in Tucson
Founded in 1959 by Dr. Robert S. Hoge, who was later joined by Tucson’s revered Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Thomas O. Miller, Valley Animal Hospital continues today in the finest traditions with which it was established. As testament to the high regard in which Dr. Miller was held, Reid Park Zoo commissioned a stunning life-size bronze sculpture as tribute to Dr. Miller and his life-long contributions to veterinary sciences. In the center of the Zoo's main exhibits, the work of art sits in a place of honor, evoking a sense of whimsical delight. While decades may pass, Dr. Miller's vast contributions can never be forgotten. Working closely with Dr. Miller throughout his own veterinary career that spans more than thirty years, native Tucsonan Dr. Totten “TK” Warfield has led Valley Animal Hospital into the twenty-first century and the prominence it enjoys today. Dr. Warfield is renowned for his promulgation of veterinary sciences as well as the significant emphasis he places on orthopedic surgery, soft tissue pathoses and joint diseases in his practice.
